We don’t recommend using a generator. Please note according to the terms and conditions of SLR Rentals, if a generator is used SLR Rentals will not be responsible for any damage caused. But even large commercial generators also experience extreme fluctuations which can cause damage to the vehicle and spoil your products too. If a generator is the last option—it should be at least 7.5 kVA to provide the required power.
Using ESB reduces operating costs up to 70%, so it’s important to know how to use it:
Please Note: Maximum lead length is 10 meters. Avoid multiple leads.
Pre-chill the load space for 30 minutes before loading (minimise the time the doors are opened to avoid heat and humidity so that the coolness is maintained.) Products should be carefully loaded at the right temperature because our vehicles are designed only to maintain the temperature. Spread the load evenly within the vehicle around 60 to 80 mm in front, 200 mm to roof and 50mm between the floor and load. Try not to put different varieties of goods together as the unit will not serve the desired temperature needs. Make sure to check the load at regular intervals.
Important: Please don’t leave the vehicle with the fridge unit running without switching on the engine as it will drain the vehicle battery.
Immediately, contact 000 for an ambulance if required. Note down all the details of the 3rd third party, including: Drivers license (take a photo of the front and back if possible).
